The development of women and children is important to IDA's history, present, and future. The adventure, which began in 1992 in the small hamlet of Suakati in the district of Kendujhar, has enriched, engaged, and empowered all of us to enhance the community and improve people's lives.

An organisation led by women, Ideal Development Agency (IDA) is located in the mining-prone area of Kendujhar, Odisha, India. The abundance of wildlife in this area has a tragic side as well, since the majority of vulnerable groups live in extreme poverty.

Caring the Aged, neglected by the families

Anandashram – a core program of Ideal Development Agency (IDA)for the old age persons
has completed 25 years of continuation.The Ashrama gives special emphasis to old age persons both women and men who are from the economically poor families .

EVOLUTION FROM JARASHRAMA TO ANANDASHRAMA

IDA is following Universal Declaration of Human Rights as guiding principle to serve the senior citizens through this old age home program following all legal norms as prescribed for the program. It is the only NGO managed old age home functioning in this region working with ideology of “Manaba seba Hi Madhaba Seba” (“Service to mankind is service to God”).
